The Mark Kitt House was designed in 1939 for residential use by architect Robert Hoff, in the International Style.
The characteristics of the International Style in the building are reflected in the construction on columns and the interplay between recessed balconies and cantilevered balconies, as well as window openings.
The building was damaged on September 9, 1940, due to a direct hit from bombs dropped by Italian Air Force planes.
In 2014, the company performed restoration and preservation work on the building according to documentation, which included adding a floor to the original structure designed by architect Eyal Ziv.
Professional Challenges:
A complex and challenging preservation work while continuing to house residents during the construction. The addition of a stunning penthouse integrated above the existing building, providing a complex solution for the elevator within the building, designed carefully to not damage the building's contour.
