Floors: 4 | Apartments: 5 | Status: Occupied |
Project Type: Preservation | Architect: Yosef Harmelin and H.N. Bornstein
This preservation building was designed by architects Yosef Hermelin and H.N. Bornstein and was built in the 1930s in the International Style of architecture. The building underwent comprehensive renovation, strengthening, and expansion as part of the TAMA 38/1 program.
Professional Challenges:
The works were carried out without evacuating the tenants from the building. Strengthening the structure within the existing envelope (casting reinforcement columns inside the existing walls) and additional works posed a complex execution challenge. The result is a newly strengthened and optimally preserved building.
